Scout Troop 923 and Cub Pack 3923 will be preparing a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday December 3, 2023, at the Activity Center. Pancakes, sausage, and other goodies will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Christmas wreath orders from Scout Troop 923 will be ready for pick-up on the weekend of December 2 and 3 after Mass.
Holy Child Jesus Parish Advent Reconciliation will take place on Sunday, December 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Activity Center. Confessions will be heard in English and Vietnamese. Holy Child Jesus Parish will host its next evening of reflection on Thursday December 7, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The topic is “The Bible and Catholic Tradition on Love, Sex, and Marriage.” Our presenter is Dr. Melanie Barrett, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Moral Theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary.
