"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
Confirmation is an important time in your spiritual growth and development. In Baptism, your parents spoke about your faith commitment in your name. Now, you are offered an opportunity to speak for yourselves, of your acceptance of Jesus and his church. To prepare for Confirmation and to show that you are willing to take on responsibility in your parish family and community, each of you will be required to perform service.
Adult Confirmation is celebrated frequently throughout the year for those over 18 years old who have been baptized, received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, and received formal catechesis, but for some reason were not confirmed. A short period of instruction is required.
